As you may know, a domain is the address for a unique location on the Internet.
The trailing part of the domain, such as .co.uk, should give a rough
indication as to the type of site and its location in the world - in
this case a company located in the United Kingdom.
You may wish to use the same name for your domain as your existing business.
If you are a Limited Company or a PLC you can register .ltd.uk or
.plc.uk respectively. But the focus of your website may be broader or
narrower than your business name suggests. In that case, look for a
name that is descriptive, short, memorable and unique.

strictly enforced and also additional domains have recently been
